2020 Conference on James Baldwin for Academics, Artists and Activists

The conference will be of interest to scholars of Baldwin, but also individuals engaged with research, writing (playwriting, poetry, film, the novel, non-fiction), the arts, and social justice activism. Specialists interested in Baldwin's legacy for race relations, human rights, including LGBTQ rights, civil rights in the US and France and international solidarity are welcome to attend.

The early registration deadline is 1 October 2019.

The general panel session proposal deadline for the conference is also October 1, 2019.
